Author’s advice on how to solve an exam paper.

1. Read the question thoroughly and with complete focus (if you do not read the question thoroughly, regardless of how good you are, you will not get it correct).
2. Exclude options that are blatantly incorrect in the first place.
3. When You’re undecided between two possibilities Select the one that struck first in your mind and proceed without rethinking.
4. never change your initial marked question unless you are certain you marked the completely incorrect option.
5. If you’re unsure about a question, choose the one with the longer statement (mostly they are right)
6. If you have limited time, such as in MRCP part-2 written, read the options first and then the question; this will give you an idea of what the question will ask for and will also save you time.
7. If you are unsure of the correct answer and wish to spend a little more time on the question, place a small dot next to an answer that you believe is correct and return at the end if time permits.
